Respect Life Month

Because the divine goodness could not be adequately represented by one creature alone, God produced many and diverse creatures, so that what was wanting in one in the representative of the divine goodness might be supplied by another...Thus the whole universe together participates in the divine goodness more perfectly and represents it better than any creature on its own.  -St. Thomas Aquinas

Children long for somebody to accept them, to love them, to praise them. Let us bring the children back to the center of our care and concern. This is the only way the world can survive because our children are the only hope of our future.

-Mother Theresa

As far as the right to life is concerned, every innocent human being is absolutely equal to all others. This equality is the basis of all authentic social relationships which, to be truly such, can only be founded on truth and justice, recognizing and protecting every man and woman as a person and not as an object to be used. Before the moral norm which prohibits the direct taking of an innocent human being, there are no exceptions for anyone. It makes no difference whether one is the master of the world or the "poorest of the poor" on the face of the earth. Before the demands of morality we are all absolutely equal.  -Pope John Paul II,The Gospel of Life,no. 57
